Quebec French localization

Last modified: ~2 min read

Overview #

Member Management supports French Canadian localization for clubs serving members in Quebec. Localization is available across the following channels:

  • Online Join
  • Online Renewal
  • My ASF Account
  • Emailed statements for payments due
  • Emailed payment rejected notices

Note: ASF Mobile does not currently offer French Canadian localization.

Online Join and Online Renewal #

Localized versions of Online Join and Online Renewal use the standard links with "www" replaced by "fr-ca". Use the appropriate link based on what you want to direct members to:

  • Lead Capture: https://fr-ca.mymemberaccount.com/member-enrollment/lead
  • Prospect Offers: https://fr-ca.mymemberaccount.com/member-enrollment/prospects/
  • Member Offers: https://fr-ca.mymemberaccount.com/member-enrollment/
  • Specific Offer Group: https://fr-ca.mymemberaccount.com/member-enrollment/group/
  • Specific Offer: https://fr-ca.mymemberaccount.com/member-enrollment/offer/
  • Specific Salesperson: https://fr-ca.mymemberaccount.com/member-enrollment/offer/?salesperson=
  • Member Renewal: https://fr-ca.mymemberaccount.com/member-enrollment/member

Localization applies to all generated contracts. The club preference "Provide member email communication in Canadian French and English" enables a bilingual contract template for Member Enrollment.

My ASF Account #

To direct members to the French Canadian version of My ASF Account, use the provided localized link after selecting the Canada checkbox in the portal settings.

Email communications #

Payment due statements and rejected payment notices are sent in the language determined by the club preference setting:

  • True: Email communications are sent in Canadian French.
  • False: Email communications are sent in English.

Implementation best practices #

  • Create separate offers for English and Canadian French content.
  • Group offers by language for easier management.
  • Include a language preference option on your club website.
  • Maintain bilingual opt-in and welcome email messaging. Contact ASF Support to update email templates.
