Before joining ASF, Jason worked in sales for a number of years including retail, where he managed multi-unit stores in the entertainment industry. Back in those days Jason studied ATA Martial Arts and earned his first-degree black belt. He didn’t know at the time he’d be working not only with health clubs, but martial arts schools. After some time as a Senior Sales Executive at ASF, Jason was promoted to Manager of Sales and has been responsible for establishing partnerships with many high-end accounts. Through his responsibilities and travels for ASF, Jason has visited literally thousands of facilities getting to know more about their operations, business trends and training philosophies.
Steve has spent a number of years in the customer service industry, and after a successful career in the retail industry he joined ASF as a Customer Service Manager. Steve was looking for a company that held his same values, was service oriented and family owned, and he found all of those attributes at ASF. Steve has a passion for developing strong relationships and applied it to his role as Client Support Manager. He has put his heart and soul into the development of his group. As a result, his team members have become shining examples of what ASF’s core values represent. They truly understand that a client’s success is our success and our clients have an amazing support system with Steve’s group.

Accounting Manager
Cindy is a veteren at ASF starting as an Accounting Clerk. Her dedication and quick study has earned her the current management position in the Accounting Department. ASF is very proud of Cindy’s accomplishments, as well as her longevity and commitment to the company and clients.
Christie attended the University of Colorado, Denver where she studied Economics and Business. She spent a number of years in a senior management role in New York on Wall Street working with mutual funds. Although Christie misses New York and stays on top of the markets all day, she feels like it’s great to be in the fitness industry which is healthy and fun! Christie has been with ASF as a Client Training Manager where she focuses on providing the best systems training in the business. Product development and system quality assurance are also an integral part of her responsibilities at ASF. She enjoys working with a staff that genuinely cares about helping clients grow their businesses. She is happy to promote teamwork, fitness and a healthy lifestyle, which fits her core values.

Implementation Department Manager
Prior to coming onboard at ASF, Jason worked for American Century Investments and JP Morgan Chase in financial planning and mutual fund analysis. After landing at ASF he soon got involved in Training, Sales, Data Conversion; and is currently the manager of the Client Implementation Department. Jason loves the team environment taking on several large, complex tasks with minimal fuss and a lot of attention to detail. His team continues to find strategies and methods that make Implementation more efficient, all the while processing large volumes of inbound client transfers. With his discipline and strong work ethic, Jason continually keeps his department and ASF clients on track.
A native of Colorado, Tami attended California State University, and then moved back to Colorado where she continues leading the Production Department at ASF. Tami loves working with clients and is constantly looking for ways to make their jobs easier through the latest ASF products and services. She and her team have worked hard to help ASF become a more green company and its staff more environmentally conscious. From initiating a company-wide recycling program to changing to email statements instead of paper letters to members, Tami’s efforts have helped to save a lot of trees and landfill space, and that’s something she is really proud of!

Customer Relations Manager
After positions in the legal, mortgage and Internet industries, Chris began his career at ASF that initially started in Sales, but quickly moved to Customer Service. He is a huge “people person” and we’re happy to have him on the ASF team! He handles clients, members and staff with ease and has the attitude that there’s never a problem that can’t be resolved. He is a definite asset to ASF and helps us all to remember that most situations are never too serious. He also reminds us that any job should be done with swift dedication, full attention, and that a smile by a happy customer is a job well done.
Mitch joined the ASF team in 2005 as a Customer Service Representative, but his financial industry training background quickly moved him to an ASF client training position. Over the years, Mitch’s interest in human resources grew as he moved to his current position, Manager of Human Resources. Before joining ASF, Mitch served in the US Army and worked as a Military Police Investigator and German Linguist. He is the ultimate team player and always leads by example.

Jonas Valdez

Jonas Valdez

Technical Support Manager
Born in Manila, Philippines, Jonas moved to San Francisco at a young age. After high school, he joined the Air Force and traveled the world while studying electronics and technology. While stationed in Spain, Jonas earned his Black Belt with the World Taekwondo Federation. Jonas returned to San Francisco and became an IT Specialist for the Postal Service. He continued his Taekwondo training earning him his Fourth Degree Black Belt with ATA. Jonas moved to Denver to work for ASF, over the years he has made some great connections with clients and regularly assists with their needs. As ASF’s Technical Support Manager, Jonas is instrumental in working with programmers on developing new and effective modules for ASF’s software products.
Steve joined the ASF team as a veteran of marketing and advertising beginning at Portland State University, where he received a Marketing and Communications degree. After many years working in Washington, DC as an advertising agency Art Director, Steve moved to Denver where he was Principal and Director of Creative Services at an advertising and public relations agency focusing on branding and strategic communications. He has worked in a wide variety of industries, but has concentrated primarily on health and wellness. His work on national marketing and advertising campaigns has earned him many accreditations and awards.
